I’m Amy, this is Fizz, and we’d love to tell you a little bit about why Wright and Wild was born.

2025 hasn’t exactly been our brightest year, so we wanted to bring our own colour and joy back into 2026. I’ve never had the time (or memory!) for gardening and I was tired of wasting money on houseplants I always forgot to water, so I needed a plant that matched my personality type… and I found it, it was right there all along: the lily.

Low-maintenance, unfussed and almost thriving on neglect (we can all relate), lilies are the ultimate flower. Somewhere along the way they’ve been forgotten, you never see them in gardens anymore. And that’s what we’re here to change.

We’re opening up a whole new side of the lily world: bold dark varieties upfront, soft neutrals at the back, updating the lily scene and getting everyone (not just your mum) growing them again.

And with the cost of everything creeping up, lilies offer something rare: a gift that keeps paying you back. They return bigger and better every year, bringing a flicker of happiness and a reminder of the moment they were gifted.

If we can bring even a little more brightness and joy into 2026, to you, to your garden, or to someone you love, then our job here is complete. Happiness must bloom from within, but it’s the cherished people in our lives who keep it flourishing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can your lilies be grown indoors?

Yes, you can grow Asiatic lilies indoors, but they are best treated as a temporary houseplant that needs to be moved outdoors for a dormant period in winter to survive for multiple years. To grow them indoors, use a large pot with good drainage, a quality potting mix, and provide plenty of bright, direct sunlight for at least 6 hours a day. Please be mindful of pets!

Why cant I plant my lilies during a frost?

Frost locks the soil and stresses the bulbs, preventing them from rooting properly. Plant them when the ground is soft and frost-free consecutively for 5-7 days so they can establish strong roots and bloom beautifully. If your eager to plant than start them in pots indoors then move outdoors once the risk of frost has passed.

Are lilies safe around pets?

Lilies are highly toxic to cats if eaten and if the pollen gets on their coats. We do not recommend lilies for feline households, indoors or out. Although our lily varieties are not deadly to dogs, if ingested they can cause GI upset so please plant them out of reach and chose pollen-free varieties. Always check with your vet if unsure.

When will my lilies bloom?

Bloom times vary depending on variety, but most of our lilies flower between June and September. Each product page and label lists exact bloom months so you always know what to expect.
